Adelaide Festival 2014

The 2014 Adelaide Festival ran from 28 February until 16 March and included over 150 performances across 50 events (including 14 theatre, three dance, 19 music, one film) alongside the Visual Arts program, Adelaide Writers’ Week and the Festival Club, Lola’s Pergola. It included 29 Australian premieres, 29 Adelaide exclusives and around 1000 visiting artists and writers.


Festival highlights included Australian exclusive performance of Roman Tragedies by Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Matthew Barney and Jonathan Bepler’s River of Fundament, and Zorn in Oz – a four concert series celebrating the music of composer John Zorn.


Adelaide Writers’ Week ran from 1 until 6 March.


Adelaide International ran from 27 February until 29 March.
